Fred Rapati
Fred is a long time resident of the Village of Warburg having moved here over 30 years ago to work for the local John Deere dealership Martin Equipment where he is still employed today as store manager. Fred and his wife have raised their two daughters here and over the years Fred has been involved in many community organizations including men’s fastball, Warburg tractor pull committee, the Warburg Volunteer Fire Department, the Knights of Columbus and the Warburg Elks.
Fred believes that a smaller community can only survive if it’s residents engage in keeping it viable and growing.

Ralph Van
Assen
Though considering
himself new to the Village (he moved here in 2008), Ralph in not new to
small town life. With a background in farming and an Alberta boy at heart
Ralph says Warburg feels quite at home.
Having joined Council after the last election, this has been a real learning experience for Ralph. It also has made Ralph realize the importance of everyone being involved in the process of local government. “The more input we get from our residents, the more the decisions we make will be in line with what is needed on our community. Ralph is here to listen and learn and to act on the resident’s behalf.
Ralph in the father of five and the grandfather of nineteen. (Yes the gray hairs are natural and well earned and the smile is still real.)
