Teresa Fritz

Teresa has been a member of Village Council for nine years. She, and her husband John, raised their family in Warburg and have remained in the Village after retiring.

“I enjoy living in our friendly community. In a small community like ours there is a closeness which you don’t find in larger centers, mostly because you know a lot of the residents and the opportunity is there to meet more at different functions and activities going on in the Village. Spending quality time with my family is very important to me and I enjoy reading and gardening in my spare time. ”

Bill McLaughlin

Dawson Kohl

Dawson has been living in the Village since July 2005 with his wife Krista and their five (5) children. This is his first term as Councillor.  His family is very active in the community. His wife Krista is a member of the Cultural Society, Communities in Bloom and the Pioneer Agricultural Society and Dawson's portfolio including: Leduc County Family and Community Support Services (FCSS); Leduc County Regional Ambulance Board; Alternate on Leduc Foundation Board of Directors and Yellowhead Regional Library. They are also active in all the sport clubs that go along with five (5) active children.

The Kohl family chose the Village of Warburg to raise their family because of the Village's small town hospitality friendly neighbours and passionate community. The Kohl family share their favourite tradition with the Village and organize the annual Easter Egg Hunt, that saw, this year, ninety-seven (97) children hunting for over 2156 candy filled plastic eggs.
